The INEOS Group is one of the largest privately-owned petrochemical companies in the world. Though traditionally a chemical company, the firm acquired a 45,000-acre position in the EagleFord Basin in 2019 as part of a long-term strategy to develop E&P operations in the United States. To aid in these efforts, the INEOS group contracted Lone Cypress as its midstream execution arm. Under the MSA, Lone Cypress was responsible for project management and EPC services for all of the associated midstream infrastructure required in developing this acreage position. These included pipelines, treating and processing facilities, compressor stations, and terminal systems.
