The Alpha Crude Connector Project represents one of the largest private equity backed midstream ventures in the Permian basin. With an initial cost of $320 million, the ACC spans 500 miles of crude gathering, more than 300 well connections, and four crude storage facilities with 600,000 Bbl in capacity. Originally developed for Concho Resources, the 150,000 Bbl/d system was sold to Plains All American for $1.2 billion in 2017. As the project manager, responsibilities included management of over 500 subcontractors working in multiple breakouts on pipeline, storage, and facility development.
